Day 19 of my own yoga & meditation challenge

I feel more energized, even though I’m not getting more hours of sleep. I feel full of life. And love. I am spending more of my awake time in the present moment which enables me to be more appreciative. Thankful for the little things as well as the larger parts of my life; ie our daughter, my fiance, our life together. Read a few pages in Eckhart Tolles’ book; The power of now and would like to share a quote. (Page 50). I think Eckhart in this text captures how the present moment will set you free – free from negativity.

“All negativity is caused by an accumulation of psychological time and denial of the present. Unease, anxiety, tension, stress, worry – all forms of fear – are caused by too much future, and not enough presence. Guilt, regret, resentment, grievances, sadness, bitterness, and all forms of nonforgiveness are caused by to much past, and not enough presence.”
